Since 2020, Hallström has worked as a freelance writer and editor, commissioning and producing interviews, features and reviews for publications including Art Basel Stories, Artsy, Artnet, Dazed, Wallpaper*, AnOther, Frieze, Elephant, BOMB, The Art Newspaper and Observer (NY), among others. She has also broadcast and reported for radio, contributing to Monocle Radio and Montez Press Radio. Hallström currently works as a researcher and assistant producer for filmmaker Joanna Hogg, supporting production across two short films, Flat 19 (2025) and Awakening (2025) — the former a commission for Tilda Swinton staged at the Eye Filmmuseum, Amsterdam — alongside an installation recreating a Victorian London flat. Her role spans scheduling, budgeting and logistics, and coordinating between creative, technical and operational teams to keep productions running smoothly and on vision.
